Laura Jane Ward-Strunin

Laura Jane Ward-Strunin (she/her) is currently the Program Manager at the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center. She has over fifteen years’ professional experience in caregiver support programming and aging services. In addition to her service with the state unit on aging in North Carolina she has worked for an eLearning company, an area agency on aging, and in several nursing homes. Her expertise includes policy development, long term care, caregiver support, and addressing social isolation and loneliness among unpaid family caregivers. Laura Jane has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Appalachian State University a master’s degree in gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

When she is not working, Laura Jane enjoys spending time with her husband, riding the Peloton bike, and travelling. She lives in Durham, North Carolina.
