Laura Jane Ward-Strunin

Laura Jane Ward-Strunin joined USAging in 2024 as the Program Manager for the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center. 

Prior to joining USAging, she led a dementia-specific caregiver support program at the state unit on aging in North Carolina. She has over 15 years’ experience in the Aging Network including managing the North Carolina Family Caregiver Support Program, and has worked for an eLearning company, an Area Agency on Aging, and several nursing homes. Her expertise includes policy development, contract management, dementia services and caregiver support programming.

Laura Jane holds a MS in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a BS in Psychology from Appalachian State University.
