Dementia Friendly America Receives Gold Mature Media Award

We are proud to announce that Dementia Friendly America (DFA) has received a 2026 Gold Mature Media Award in the Online/Digital Resource category for its Dementia-Friendly Holiday Toolkit. The award recognizes the toolkit's excellence in providing practical, accessible guidance to help families, friends, care partners, organizations and communities create more supportive and compassionate holiday experiences for people living with dementia.
 


 

New Findings From the 2025 National Survey of Area Agencies on Aging

The National Area Agency on Aging (AAAs) Survey Chartbook is now available! Conducted every three years by USAging in partnership with Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University, the survey tracks and documents the key trends and issues occurring across the Aging Network, providing valuable insight into how AAAs are adapting and evolving to meet the needs of older adults in their communities.
