Assistive Technology: Guides for Older Adults and Their Caregivers
Assistive technology, or “AT,” are tools, devices, pieces of equipment or systems that help you to do something more easily or safely. There are many kinds of AT available, how Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) can help people find solutions to help older adults stay independent at home and increase peace of mind for caregivers.
The Eldercare Locator, a national information and referral center for older adults and caregivers, AAAs and State Assistive Technology Act Programs can help you choose and obtain assistive technology.
