Your Donations Help Older Adults Age Well at Home
USAging and our members are dedicated to helping older adults age well where they want to—in their own homes and communities. But many cannot do that without support services, such as meals, medical transportation and in-home services. Last year, USAging spent 87 percent of our income on programs and services that enhanced the opportunities for older adults, people with disabilities and caregivers to live healthier and more productive lives.
Your donations can help us do more! USAging is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (Tax ID# 52-1052345), and your donations are fully tax deductible. We have received ratings from both Charity Navigator and GuideStar. View our financial information.
There are many ways you can play a role in helping America’s older adults to live well and independently at home. These include making a donation to:
USAging Disaster Relief Fund
Hurricanes, floods, wildfires. Every year, disasters hit communities across the nation, wreaking devastation on the lives of all residents—but older adults are frequently most negatively impacted and have the hardest time recovering. The USAging Disaster Relief Fund provides direct support to older disaster victims. One hundred percent of all donations made to the Disaster Relief Fund go to Area Agencies on Aging and Title VI Native American Aging Programs in affected areas. These local organizations then distribute the funds directly to assist older adults. Learn more and donate.
Dementia Friendly Fund

Support the Dementia Friendly America Movement!
There are currently more than six million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease. With millions more Americans providing unpaid care for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, it is critical that our communities are informed, safe and respectful of individuals living with dementia, their families and care partners. Dementia Friendly America (DFA), administered by USAging, is a nationwide movement working to ensure that people living with dementia and their care partners can live, engage, and thrive in communities that are understanding, informed and supportive. Your donation directly strengthens the backbone of our work—including: Managing our national clearinghouse of directories and dementia-friendly resources, coordinating communications across the network of engaged communities and champions, organizing convenings and collaborative opportunities to accelerate innovation and connection and sustaining partnerships across sectors committed to making systems more dementia friendly—from businesses, the arts and the entertainment industry to faith groups and local governments
Together, we are raising awareness, reducing stigma and creating a more compassionate and connected future for the millions of individuals impacted by dementia. But we can’t do it without you. Donate today to keep the movement growing—and to ensure no one faces dementia alone.
USAging Building Our Capacity Fund
The need for aging services and supports in most communities outweighs the resources Area Agencies on Aging and Title VI programs have to meet them. To help, USAging’s Building Our Capacity Fund enables us to invest in research and innovative programs that will directly help these critical agencies develop the aging services and supports needed to help the growing numbers of older adults living in the community with dementia, expand transportation options, increase technology options and supports to combat social isolation and much more. You can help us expand and enhance aging options for all older adults. Learn more and donate!
USAging Aid Fund
These funds are used to meet the greatest needs of the organization at any given time to help build a society that values and supports people as they age. For more details or to make a contribution, please contact Geoff Martiny, CFO, gmartiny@usaging.org or 202.872.0888.
