Lakeisha James

Lakeisha James joined USAging as the Director, Human Resources, in October 2022. Lakeisha has worked in the field for more than 12 years, with experience in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee training, benefits and payroll. Throughout her career, Lakeisha has helped organizations improve in the areas of transformational leadership, intercultural communication, team building and change management. 

Prior to joining USAging, Lakeisha worked at a DC Public Charter School where she managed all human resources, payroll and benefits functions. She has also worked in the corporate and nonprofit sectors where she focused on system implementation, benefits, leadership coaching and recruiting.

Lakeisha has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management.
