Partial Shutdown Ends, Labor/HHS Funded Through September 2026

On Tuesday, the President signed into law a bill funding most of the government, including Labor/HHS, through September, ending the partial government shutdown. After a long and tumultuous FY 2026 appropriations process, Older Americans Act (OAA) programs and other critical aging programs are now fully funded until the end of the fiscal year.  

Now that FY 2026 appropriations are done, USAging will release a new FY 2027 appropriations campaign next month, in concert with the Aging Policy Briefing.
