Changes to Inform USA Accreditation Requirements
Have previous requirements to use 211LA taxonomy been a barrier to Inform USA accreditation for your I&R team? Good news—Inform USA has just released an updated version of the industry Standards for Information and Referral with an important change.
Previous versions required the use of the 211 LA County Taxonomy (now known as 211HSIS). That requirement has been loosened, allowing aging and disability organizations to use a classification system that meets their needs while still falling within the guidelines for an alternate taxonomy.

In the coming months, a new version of the Accreditation Manual will be published reflecting the new classification system standards.
