Community Care Corps Symposium Shines a Spotlight on Caregiving

This week, USAging hosted the first Community Care Corps Symposium. Oasis Institute, Caregiver Action Network and Altarum joined us to foster engaging panel discussions about innovative, local volunteer models for supporting older adults, family caregivers and adults living with disabilities.

Speakers included grantee panelists, researchers and other Aging Network experts, including keynote remarks from Alison Barkoff, Acting Assistant Secretary for Aging at the U.S. Administration for Community Living, and Atalaya Sergi, Director of AmeriCorps Seniors. With more than 1,000 registrants, a great speaker lineup and active attendee engagement, the symposium was a success! In case you missed it, Symposium recordings be available on the Community Care Corps website.
