Traci L. Wilson

Traci Wilson joined USAging as the Director, Research, in January 2021. Her primary responsibility is leading the Information and Planning Grant Program, which is funded by the U.S. Administration for Community Living and includes the administration of the National AAA and Title VI Native American Aging Program Surveys, various topical polls, the development of resources and the dissemination of survey research findings.

Before joining USAging, Traci was a Research Scholar at the Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University in Oxford, OH. There, she conducted both quantitative and qualitative research on the capacity and impact of the Aging Network. Traci’s projects included collaborating with USAging to administer and analyze the AAA and Title VI surveys, evaluating the effectiveness of USAging's Aging and Disability Business Institute to increase contracting between community-based organizations and health care entities, and researching the characteristics and outcomes of partnerships between AAAs and health care organizations. She has co-authored publications in Health Affairs, the Journal of Aging and Social Policy, and Medical Care related to the impact of AAAs on health outcomes.

Traci holds a DPhil in Politics from Oxford University, a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a Bachelor’s in French and International Management from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN.
