Melissa Gray

Melissa Gray joined USAging in January 2017 and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Transportation. In this role, she provides strategic leadership and oversight of program staff, activities, and operations, ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives that address accessible community transportation for older adults and people with disabilities. Melissa directs program management efforts, oversees communications strategies, and fosters partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance accessible transportation solutions nationwide.
 
A seasoned professional with more than 15 years of experience in aging programs, Melissa has dedicated her career to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. She has led the development and execution of programs and initiatives designed to promote an independent and inspiring lifestyle for older adults. Melissa is passionate about supporting communities in her efforts to enable older adults to maintain their independence and age in place safely and with dignity.
 
Melissa holds a Master of Science in Gerontology from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
