Requirements
MAJOR DUTIES
A. Contract Administration
1. Prepare requests for proposals and contract renewal documents for area of responsibility
2. Coordinate the review of proposals and contract renewals with Services Committee
3. Supervise preparation of all provider contracts and contract amendments in area of responsibility
4. Ensure that program specialists monitor performance of service providers through monthly programmatic and financial reports and/or billings, and financial and/or unit rate analysis
5. Ensure quality management monitoring of purchased services through assessments of service providers according to agency policy; ensure that assessments are written in timely manner; review all assessments for accuracy; revise assessment instruments when needed
6. Monitor financial status of contracts and keep the President & CEO apprised of expenditure rates and funding needs
8. Develop operational manuals for service providers; revise manuals as needed
9. Recommend to the President & CEO agency policies and procedures for service providers; implement agency policies and procedures
10. Prepare analytical reports; recommend to the President & CEO changes to the service system
11. Ensure appropriate insurance coverages for service providers in accordance with fund source and agency requirements
12. Review Unusual Incident Reports
II. OTHER DUTIES
A. Supervision
1. Conduct regular unit planning meeting with staff supervised
2. Provide on-going training to staff supervised
3. Assist staff in resolving service provider problems
B. Perform other duties as assigned
C. Perform in a manner that is supportive to the cultural needs of the population(s) served by the program or service
III. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, or a related field, plus four years experience in a recognized social service agency; Must have a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card; Must have a valid State of Arizona driver’s license and current auto insurance; Travel throughout Maricopa County required.
