Virginia Dize

Virginia Dize joined USAging in January 2008. As Co-Director of the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC), she oversees USAging's work on accessible transportation. Prior to joining USAging, Virginia served as an associate director at the National Association of State Units on Aging. She has more than 30 years of experience in issues of aging, including long-term care policy development, advocacy and program management. She is a respected authority on program issues related to innovations in home and community-based services, including transportation and mobility, assisted living, family caregiver issues and consumer direction.

Virginia holds a Master of Science in Gerontology from Virginia Commonwealth University and Bachelor of Arts in History from Mary Washington College.
