n4a and 61 National Organizations Appeal to Senate Leaders to Bring OAA Floor

In recognition of Older Americans Month and of the 50th Anniversary of the Older Americans Act, n4a helped recruit, secure and coordinate a diverse group of 61 national organizations representing aging, disability, local government, health and other social services to sign on to a letter that was sent to Senate Majority and Minority Leaders encouraging floor consideration of the Older Americans Act Reauthorization Act of 2015, S. 192. This bipartisan bill, with 20 co-sponsors and which n4a has endorsed, passed committee in January and has been on the Senate Calendar since February.
