Senior Transportation Funding Letter to Capitol Hill

The Senior Transportation Task Force (STTF) sent House and Senate Appropriators a letter supporting Department of Transportation (DOT) funding for transportation programs affecting older adults. The STTF is a coalition of national organizations advocating on behalf of the transportation needs of seniors. n4a, in partnership with Easter Seals, co-leads the Task Force, and will continue to advocate for critical mobility access that helps older Americans remain active and engaged in their daily lives. STTF advocacy is especially important during both FY 2015 appropriations debates and during upcoming surface transportation reauthorization efforts.
