Mattie Freeze

Mattie Freeze joined USAging in October 2025 as a Communications Assistant. In this role, she supports the organization’s communications efforts by developing digital content, drafting press releases and newsletters, assisting with social media campaigns, and contributing to communications and outreach strategies that amplify USAging’s programs, initiatives, and mission.

Prior to joining USAging, Mattie gained experience in journalism, public relations, and digital media while working for news organizations like Cronkite News at Arizona PBS and serving as a PR Coordinator at Small Giants, where she developed client content, managed social media accounts, and produced marketing materials. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School.
