Stories of Disaster and Recovery

Every Dollar Makes a Difference. Each Story Proves It.
When disaster strikes, 100 percent of donations to the USAging Disaster Relief Fund go directly to Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) and Title VI Native American Aging Programs in affected communities. These trusted local organizations use the funds to provide immediate, life-changing support to older adults—many of whom are uninsured and over the age of 50.
From food, water and clothing to temporary housing, home repairs and replacement of critical medical equipment, your donation helps restore safety, dignity and hope. Funds are also used for transportation, wellness checks and essential health supplies—ensuring older adults are not left behind in times of crisis.
Real Lives. Real Recovery.
Through voluntary reports from AAAs, we have gathered stories that show how generosity helps individuals and communities rebuild. Read how your support and contribution can make a lasting impact.
