Janice Powers

Janice Powers joined USAging in May 2023 and currently serves as a program manager with USAging’s Aging and Disability Vaccination Collaborative (ADVC). In this role, Janice serves as a liaison with community-based grantees of the ADVC, a national effort funded by the U.S. Administration for Community Living that focuses on increasing vaccine uptake among older adults and people with disabilities.

Before joining USAging, Janice was a Regional Program Manager for the COVID-19 Vaccine and Workforce Development programs with the CDC Foundation. She has an extensive background in public health administration and emergency response, and is an ardent advocate of community health and collaborative engagement.

Janice holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Wichita State University, as well as a Master of Public Health from Wichita State University in association with Kansas University.
