Lynn Winchell-Mendy
Lynn Winchell-Mendy re-joined USAging in June 2022. As Program Manager, Transportation for the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC), she manages the NADTC grant programs and provides technical assistance to support communities delivering important transportation services to older adults and people with disabilities. Lynn particularly likes to see how programs operate on the ground and to highlight best practices so other programs can replicate or adapt successful and innovative ideas in their communities.
Lynn has worked in aging and disability for more than 25 years, focusing on transportation access since 2006. Previously, she managed the 5310 Enhanced Mobility program for the Washington, DC metropolitan area, which awarded more than $3 million dollars per year to organizations in the District of Columbia, suburban Maryland, and northern Virginia. Lynn holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the State University of New York at Albany.
