You Can Help Older Adults Age Well at Home
USAging and our members are dedicated to helping older adults age well—where they want to—in their own homes and communities. But many cannot do that without support services such as meals, medical transportation and in-home services. Last year, USAging spent 87 percent of our income on programs and services that enhanced the opportunities for older adults, people with disabilities and caregivers to live healthier and more productive lives.
Your donations can help us do more! USAging is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and your donations are deductible. We have received the GuideStar Silver Seal of Transparency.
Here’s how you can help us support America’s older adults:
- USAging Disaster Relief Fund: Hurricanes, floods, wildfires. Every year a disaster hits communities across the nation wreaking devastation on the lives of all residents but hardest hit are older adults. Through the Disaster Relief Fund, USAging steps in to provide support. One hundred percent of all donations made to the Disaster Relief Fund go to Area Agencies on Aging and Title VI Native American Aging Programs, which use these donations to directly assist older adults. - USAging Building Our Capacity Fund: The need for aging services and supports in most communities outweighs the resources Area Agencies on Aging and Title VI programs have to meet them. To help, USAging’s Building Our Capacity Fund enables us to invest in research and innovative programs that will directly help these critical agencies develop the aging services and supports needed to help the growing numbers of older adults living in the community with dementia, expand transportation options, increase technology options and supports to combat social isolation and much more. You can help us expand and enhance aging options for all older adults. Learn more and donate!
- USAging Aid Fund: These funds are used to meet the greatest needs of the organization at any given time to help build a society that values and supports people as they age. For more details or to make a contribution, please contact Geoff Martiny, CFO, email@example.com or 202.872.0888.
