Staying Connected at Home During COVID-19
Staying Connected at Home During COVID-19
A new flyer from the Eldercare Locator and engAGED: The National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults helps AAAs and others in the Aging Network ensure that older adults have the information, resources and tips they need to stay connected to the community during the COVID-19 national health crisis, thereby avoiding the negative health effects of social isolation and loneliness. The flyer highlights actions older adults can take to stay engaged—and connected—to the wider world in mind, body and spirit, whether it is making a phone call to a family member or friend, participating in an online fitness class or taking a virtual tour to explore a museum.
To share this resource with older adults in your community, simply download the flyer in English and Spanish. Is your organization a AAA, Title VI aging program or Aging Network provider? If so, add your logo and contact information to the customizable version (English, Spanish)! Need to have the flyer printed? Use one of these two versions (standard or customiazble) to send to your printer.
Need help adding your logo and contact information to the flyer? Check out our instructions on how to add your agency's logo to the customizable version of this flyer. Have questions? Let us know by sending an email to info@usaging.org.
Both the Eldercare Locator and engAGED: The National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults are administered by USAging and funded by the Administration for Community Living.
