Eva Veitch

I am the director of the Region 10 Area Agency on Aging, serving older adults and those with disabilities in a six-county region in rural Colorado. Supporting and advocating for older adults has been my life’s work and passion.

I have had the privilege of working in many aspects of elder care including long-term-care, assisted living facility management, transportation system management and PACE, before joining the AAA network in 2012.

I am a volunteer facilitator for NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) and support families who have suffered a loss by suicide. I am also a dedicated volunteer for Altrusa International with a focus on literacy.

I my spare time, I love camping and enjoying the beautiful Colorado mountains. Between my late husband and I we have four grown children, three amazing grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
