New Business Institute Report on Future Directions for CBO-Health Care Contracting

A new report from n4a's Aging and Disability Business Institute identifies actionable steps that can move the field of health care contracting among AAAs and other CBOs forward. A View from the Field: Future Directions for Contracting Between Health Care and Community-Based Organizations, is the result of a meeting of leaders from the Aging and Disability Networks, including government partners, private philanthropy, national organizations, AAAs and other CBOs that are leading the field in health care contracting.


Meeting participants spoke to many of the challenges and opportunities the Aging Network is facing, including addressing misconceptions and the length of time needed to develop contracts. The result of the meeting is this report, which distills the meeting's robust discussion into pathways forward for stakeholders of all types at the national, state and local levels. A View from the Field: Future Directions for Contracting Between Health Care and Community-Based Organizations provides an overview of key themes that emerged from the meeting and identifies collective action that can help move the field of CBO-health care contracting forward.
