Add Your AAA to the National Directory of Home Modification and Repair Services

As we all know, the important work AAAs do in the arena of home modifications and repairs helps older adults continue living independently in their homes and communities. With the spread of COVID-19, older adults are spending more time at home without the caregivers and aides that normally provide assistance, making modifications to enhance home safety and prevent falls more important than ever.

Through the University of Southern California (USC) Leonard Davis School of Gerontology project, Promoting Aging in Place: Enhancing Access to Home Modifications, which is funded by ACL, n4a and USC invite you to help by adding information about your AAA's home modification and repair programs to the National Directory of Home Modification and Repair Resources. The National Directory is a compilation of resources related to home modification and repair and will include information on available funding, providers offering home modification services, and consumer materials for each state. Please use this short form to add your AAA to the National Directory by April 10.

Adding your AAA's information to the National Directory will help consumers, professionals and caregivers find information about your AAA's home modification/repair programs and services.

Your AAA will also be considered for a “spotlight” on home modification/repair activities on online state profiles of home modification/repair efforts, case studies, or a home modification/repair training program for the Aging Network.

If you aren't the right person to complete the form, please send the form to the appropriate staff person in your agency so they can complete it by April 10. We estimate that this will take approximately three minutes of your time.

Should you have any questions about the project, please contact Julie Overton at overton@usc.edu or Meredith Hanley at mhanley@n4a.org.
