According to the National Institutes of Health, “depression is not a normal part of aging,” yet statistics show that the incidence of mental health problems in older adults is on the rise in the U.S. Area Agencies on Aging are often on the frontlines of what some have called a national crisis, so we are pleased to invite an expert on this issue from the renowned Center for Aging & Disability Education & Research (CADER) at Boston University to lead an interactive session that will provide participants with the tools to help clients in their communities.
