Join Federal Leaders for Important Discussions on Elder Justice

Next Tuesday, June 5, the federal Elder Justice Coordinating Council (EJCC) will meet to discuss activities related to elder abuse, neglect and exploitation.

It is expected that some Cabinet Secretaries will attend to provide their agency's perspective on critical elder justice issues. The 4th annual Global Summit on Elder Justice will immediately follow the EJCC meeting that afternoon. The day's events will be live-streamed, beginning at 9:15 a.m. ET, on www.sec.gov so that elder justice advocates from around the country may join the discussions. Visit the ACL website for information on the day's events.

And don't forget that World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is June 15! Visit the World Elder Abuse Awareness Day website for outreach materials, tips on how to take action and other useful tools to engage your community.
