Community Hubs Connect Older Adults to Transportation Services

A new blog post from the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center highlights how Kiosks for Living Well, a 2017 n4a Aging Innovation Award-winning program developed by Greater Lynn Senior Services, helps older adults learn about transportation options and community supports.

The health-monitoring kiosks, installed at senior centers, housing complexes and other community hubs, feature advisors and health practitioners that provide basic screenings and interactive problem-solving sessions to older adults in a fun, social environment. In a number of cases, transportation needs may also emerge as consumers seek assistance with other issues or simply use the Kiosk for recreation.
