n4a Speaks to CA Elected Leaders at C4A Meeting

This week, at the invitation of the California Association of AAAs, n4a's Director, Public Policy and Advocacy Autumn Campbell was invited to present to the California State Assembly Aging and Long-Term Care Committee about how current federal budget and spending decisions could affect seniors and caregivers in California.

The discussion included a look at how potential cuts to Medicaid, Medicare and federal discretionary aging programs, such as the Older Americans Act and SHIP, would affect the state's health and home care and social support programs for older adults. A full recording of that hearing is available online.

In the past month, n4a has provided live federal policy updates to AAAs and advocates in Michigan, Colorado, Virginia and Ohio. Want us to fly in or even just call or video conference in to your next AAA meeting? Make us an offer!
