The collaborative of AAAs called Virginia Area Agencies on Aging Cares (VAAACares) provides a one-stop shop approach for developing contracts with health insurance plans participating in Virginia's Managed Long-Term Services and Supports initiative. This incredible opportunity for care integration builds on the success Virginia AAAs have had with the federal Community-based Care Transitions Program (CCTP).
