Looking for proven ways to strengthen your volunteer program? Interested in learning more about what other volunteer programs are doing to improve the lives of older adults?
n4a's Aging Network Volunteer Resource Center has released new case studies featuring five unique volunteer programs that are effectively meeting the needs of older adults in their communities.
Volunteers Making a Difference in the Lives of Older Adults: Five On-The-Ground Examples provides a brief yet detailed overview of each program and answers the questions “What is necessary to run the program?” and “What makes the program replicable?” The case studies offer tangible, real-life examples for you to learn from and information to apply to your agency's volunteer program.
You can find the case studies here. If you see something that you'd like to replicate at your agency—why not give it a try! Reach out to the program contacts listed for more information. They are ready to share information and resources to get you on the road to improving your existing volunteer program, or creating something entirely new!
