Positioning Aging Network for New CMS Program Opportunity

At our recent conference, one of the most in-demand presentations focused on strategies to secure health care business opportunities at a time when major funding is moving towards improved health outcomes and hospitals and physicians are shifting to value-based payment models.
ACL Consultant Tim McNeill presented on CMS?s Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Initiative, a value-based payment model that directly affects older adults and the services and programs provided by AAAs and other community-based organizations.

Just last month, CMS announced the Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement model, which will bundle payments for Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries who have hip and knee replacements. This proposed model will be implemented in 75 regions and will have a significant impact on care transitions programs. Because this program may affect so many of our members, we invited Tim McNeill to lead a webinar on August 25 at 1:00 p.m. ET that will explain the potential impact of these CMS initiatives on local markets, the role the Aging Network can play and how to leverage these opportunities to sustain programs like CCTP, so register now!
