Put Your Best Foot Forward: Apply to Attend the 2017 Walkability Action Institute!

The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) seeks applications for funding assistance to support attendance at the third annual walkability action institute, entitled “Step It Up!: Action Institute to Increase Walking and Walkability.”

The institute was developed to help teams of professionals pursue policy, systems and environmental supports for walking and walkability and provide them with the most up-to-date academic and applied learning methods on the topic.

Funding is available for teams to travel to Georgia and participate in in the event (a maximum of $7,304 per team). All applications are due by 11:59 pm E.T. on November 30, 2016 and should be submitted to Karma Edwards at kedwards@chronicdisease.org.
