Ninety percent of AAAs provide transportation services, a critical resource for older adults' health and social engagement needs. COVID-19 has changed the demand for and management of transportation programs. Join n4a and the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC, jointly administered by n4a and Easterseals) on August 19 at 2:00 pm ET for a webinar to learn about AAA involvement in transportation programs, highlighting results from the AAA National Survey.
This webinar will also spotlight two AAAs that will share their unique perspectives on the impact that COVID-19 has had on transportation services, new funding opportunities for AAAs under Section 5310 from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and promising approaches in rural transportation. Using polls, Q&A and discussion, participants will share feedback with n4a and NADTC about their technical assistance needs and transportation experiences.
