Dementia Friendly America (administered by n4a) is pleased to share the newly released Dementia-Friendly Community Evaluation Guide. The Evaluation Guide, developed with funding from AARP, is geared toward local dementia-friendly community leaders and partners to help evaluate the impact of their DFA efforts.
Measuring common outcomes of dementia-friendly activities is essential to evaluating the impact that DFA communities are able to achieve, and DFA is excited to share this new resource that includes straightforward steps and standardized tools to foster outcome-based evaluation strategies.
If you missed DFA's May 6 webinar, Meredith Hanley, Project Director for Dementia Friendly America, and Emily Farah-Miller, former executive lead for ACT on Alzheimer's and consultant for the Evaluation Guide effort, provided information and insight into the evaluation process and its importance. Visit the DFA website to listen to or watch the webinar recording and access the Evaluation Guide.
