New n4a BrainGuide Helpline Empowers People of All Ages to Take Action on Brain Health

As the number of older adults living in the United States grows, the number of individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia grows along with it. According to the 2020 AAA Survey Report, more than half of all AAAs provide care to individuals of all ages who are living with dementia. To address this growing need, n4a, in partnership with UsAgainstAlzheimer's (UsA2), has launched the BrainGuide Helpline to support users of UsA2's new BrainGuide.

BrainGuide is a first-of-its-kind platform that empowers older adults, care partners and others with knowledge and resources to take next steps in managing brain health for themselves or a loved one.

Available in both English and Spanish, BrainGuide offers free resources based on the answers users provide in an automated, confidential, self-administered memory questionnaire. The BrainGuide memory questionnaire does not provide a diagnosis but can help guide individuals toward additional information and resources.

BrainGuide users seeking additional support can also connect with BrianGuide Information Specialists via the n4a-administered BrianGuide Helpline for further assistance connecting with local and national resources. The BrainGuide questionnaire, resources and helpline can be accessed at mybrainguide.org or by calling 855-BRAIN-411.

Learn more about BrainGuide, how it works and why the platform is so important during a webinar hosted by n4a and UsAgainstAlzheimer's on Tuesday, May 11 at 1:30 pm ET. Save the date and register here.
