AAAs Extend Pharmacy Benefits Campaign into February

Although Pharmacy Benefits Week is over, many of our members have chosen to extend this important campaign by holding special events throughout February. 

This week, the Montgomery County AAA is holding two events to share information about the Answers on Aging®|Pharmacy Benefits program, a public education initiative developed by n4a in collaboration with Walgreens. In addition to receiving lots of great general information, attendees will have the opportunity to ask their local Walgreens pharmacist questions that pertain to their own personal needs and circumstances.

“Based on input from older adults in our community, we know that medication costs and a lack of understanding about what their prescription benefits cover are major concerns,” said Odile Brunetto, Director of the Montgomery County AAA. “At the events we are holding this week, we will share information and answer questions so that participants feel empowered to take charge of their physical and financial well-being.”
