Serving Diverse Older Adults in the Aging Network

America's population is not only aging rapidly—it is also rapidly becoming more diverse. Yet the specific needs of diverse older adults are often ignored, and many older adults may not seek supportive aging services due to fear of, and experiences with, discrimination and bias. To assist your agency's outreach and planning work, take a look at a new publication from the National Consortium on Aging Resources for Seniors' Equity, Serving Diverse Elders: Strategies for Meaningful Inclusion in Service Planning and Delivery.

Produced by the National Consortium on Aging Resources for Seniors' Equity with funding from ACL, this guide aims to provide the Aging Network with tools and resources needed to be more inclusive of culturally diverse populations of older adults during the state and area planning processes.
