Updated Tools from n4a to Use for Your OAA Advocacy!

Since Congress has passed a federal budget agreement setting overall federal spending levels, the House and Senate will soon turn toward finalizing FY 2020 funding for specific programs, including Older Americans Act and other aging programs—which means we need your advocacy NOW!

While the House passed a bill that included important increases for OAA programs, lawmakers in the House and Senate will now have to agree on funding levels. n4a has updated the resources available on our FY 2020 Appropriations campaign page to help aging advocates connect with their Members of Congress—especially in the Senate—to encourage them to approve the House-passed increases for OAA in a final FY 2020 spending bill. As we detailed in yesterday's Advocacy Alert, it is important to get loud now while lawmakers are in their districts and states for the August recess.
