Long-Distance Caregiving Focus of Latest Home for the Holidays Campaign

n4a and the Eldercare Locator are excited to announce the theme of the 2018 Home for the Holidays campaign—long-distance caregiving. The campaign comes in recognition of the more than 500 long-distance caregivers who contact the Eldercare Locator each month with questions about programs that are not local to them but are local to their loved ones.

Each year, Home for the Holidays tackles important aging issues and provides consumer-friendly materials that AAAs and other members of the Aging Network can customize, share and use in their communities. The campaign is a great way for the AAAs to conduct outreach, raise local visibility for their programs and services, and earn media attention for their agencies.

More information about the campaign and information on how to order the brochure will soon be available onlineWe'll be adding a sample press release, PowerPoint presentation and other tools that your agency can use to promote its programs and tools.

Stay tuned for details about an upcoming webinar that will describe programs, resources and tools to support long-distance caregivers. If your agency has a program that addresses the specific needs of long-distance caregivers, please tell us about it! We'd love to highlight your agency's program throughout this year's campaign.
