In the very near future, the Eldercare Locator, funded by AoA and administered by n4a, will launch the newly refreshed website eldercare.acl.gov To make this update the best it can be, we are asking all AAAs and Title VI aging programs to help make sure the Eldercare Locator's database is accurate and up to date!
Please take a few minutes to make sure the Eldercare Locator database has the correct contact information for your agency. Also, please ensure that any references and links to the Eldercare Locator website from your website or materials have the updated and secure URL, eldercare.acl.gov.
Through its website and call center, the Eldercare Locator connects older adults, their caregivers and their families to trusted local resources—and helps ensure that older adults live independently in their own homes and communities for as long as possible. The Eldercare Locator receives more than 350,000 calls and 480,000 visitors to its website each year, with many of the referrals it makes going to a local Area Agency on Aging, Aging and Disability Resource Center or State Health Insurance Assistance Program.
To help the Eldercare Locator continue making these vital referrals to resources in the community, we are asking you to help ensure that your local contact information in the Eldercare Locator's database is accurate.
If you have any questions or need assistance in updating your information, please send an email to eldb@n4a.org.
