Details Announced on Full-Year FY 2019 Funding for OAA

Late Thursday night, lawmakers released details on a final FY 2019 federal funding agreement for the Departments of Labor and Health and Human Services—including funding for Older Americans Act and other federal aging programs.

The agreement includes a provision to continue federal funding for other agencies—thereby avoiding threat of a government shutdown before the election—it is likely that lawmakers will pass this bill before the start of the FY 2019 fiscal year.
