n4a's Aging and Disability Business Institute is excited to announce a call for applications for AAAs and other community-based organizations (CBOs) to participate in a new learning collaborative that will assist them in making strategic decisions around investing in health information technology systems to collect, manage and analyze service data while enhancing program quality, client satisfaction and service reimbursement.
As our 2016 report Information Technology in Area Agencies on Aging: Report from the 2015 National AAA Survey shows, IT is a critical component for AAAs pursuing health care contracts—and this new learning collaborative aims to help with the IT decision-making process.
The Health Information Technology Learning Collaborative (HITLC) will provide up to 12 CBOs with targeted technical assistance and a platform to share what they learn. The key outcome of participation in the HITLC will be the successful implementation and use of administrative systems to grow the capacity and impact of participating CBOs, and the development of tools that can assist the larger field of CBOs with the decision-making process.
