How to Build a Business Case for CBO Services

A new resource guide from n4a's Aging and Disability Business Institute offers an overview of the new opportunities community-based organizations can use to further their missions by partnering with managed care organizations (MCO), health systems and other payers to address the social determinants of health affecting their clients, particularly older adults and people with disabilities.

The guide also provides CBOs with a step-by-step process they can use to analyze their strengths and build a compelling, value-based business case and successfully compete in the new healthcare environment.

As funding opportunities evolve, it is important for CBOs to develop products and services that drive value, deliver measurable outcomes and provide a positive return on investment for the CBO as well as their MCO and health system partners—a win-win for all parties.
