Innovative Thinking that Successfully Meets the Needs of Payers

A new resource from n4a's Aging and Disability Business Institute highlights a successful multi-payer approach to health care contracting that has been implemented by Partners in Care Foundation, a community-based organization located in San Fernando, CA.

Partners was successful in securing contracts with Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), but without an existing infrastructure within the MCOs to make referrals, the program was at risk of failing. By leveraging existing relationships with physician practices, Partners was able to develop a solution that was a win for all involved.

Read the success story to learn more about Partners' strategy to align the efforts of multiple payers and position themselves as a key player in the delivery of coordinated care.
