Share a Photo of Your Dementia-Friendly Community!

Across the country, in communities large and small, people and organizations are working to ensure that neighborhoods, businesses, arts and cultural institutions, faith communities and others are welcoming and supportive of people living with dementia and their care partners. Do you have photos that capture the essence and diversity of being dementia-friendly? If so, share them and enter Dementia Friendly America's (DFA) photo contest!

Please share with us pictures of people and events that demonstrate how people living with dementia and their care partners can remain engaged and independent in their communities.

Your agency can submit photos showing older adults in an array of situations such as memory cafés, adult day care activities and support groups, worship services, physical activity programs, library, arts or other cultural activities, sensory gardens and other supportive outdoor spaces, transportation options, accessible business locations, appropriately designed or modified housing options and health services.

We will choose at least one Grand Prize–winning photo to be featured on our Dementia Friendly America website, newsletter, and social media platforms. The Grand Prize winner(s) and two runner ups will also receive gift cards of $100, $50 and $25.

Winners will be notified via email by January 19, 2018 and announced online via Twitter and Facebook shortly afterwards. The deadline for submissions is December 29, 2017, so don't delay.
