NADTC Launches Free Online Course on Transportation for Family Caregivers

We are excited to announce a new online course from the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center that will launch on December 1 and run through January 2018.

The course, Making Community Connections to Meet the Transportation Needs of Persons with Dementia and their Caregivers: Connecting Transit, Caregivers and Caregiver Support Services, offers an in-depth look at the transportation needs and concerns experienced by family caregivers, particularly caregivers of individuals with dementia, and provides guidance on community approaches for connecting transportation and caregiver networks.

The course will include presentations, a private discussion forum available to all course registrants, homework assignments and a recorded live event. Session 1 of the course will be available beginning on December 1. Registration is open until December 8, 2017.
