Advocates Have Only Days to Stop Devastating Medicaid Cuts

The Senate is poised to bring the latest threat to Medicaid—the Graham-Cassidy bill—to the Senate floor for a vote next week. Local aging advocates must act NOW to #SaveMedicaid.
As detailed in our latest n4a Advocacy Alert, the bill maintains the Medicaid cuts reflected in earlier ACA repeal and replace proposals. n4a has updated our #SaveMedicaid resources for local advocates, and will hold a conference call TODAY at 1 p.m. ET (Call-in number: 1-866-809-4014; Password: 8720885) to discuss advocacy next steps and strategies and answer questions about what Graham-Cassidy would mean for older adults. The Senate must pass this bill by September 30 before the fast-track process expires, so there are only days left to stop this bill in its tracks.
