The Fight to #SaveMedicaid

As we hope you've read in n4a's policy communications this week, advocates for older adults and HCBS face a tremendous threat in the form of the Senate Republican health care plan, finally unveiled yesterday. This is an all-hands-on-deck advocacy situation, with a Senate vote coming as early as next week!

For our first take of the bill, see yesterday's Legislative Update

Then, take action! Our new set of grassroots tools not only makes it easy for you to weigh in with your Senators, the public and the media, but also help you customize your own Advocacy Alert to distribute in your local community. Even if this is not something you usually do, we strongly urge you to consider taking this next step in the local advocacy you do every day.

This is definitely not a drill, so if you care about the ability of federal Medicaid funding to support the most vulnerable older adults you serve, then please, visit our campaign page right now and figure out what actions you can take TODAY and next week.

If you have any questions about n4a's advocacy efforts, please contact Autumn Campbell or Amy Gotwals.
