n4a Recognizes National Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month

Across the United States, there are over 5 million people living with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia.

n4a is working hard to help support people living with the disease, as well as their caregivers, as co-chair and administrator of Dementia Friendly America.

As aging organizations across the country lead community events and initiatives for Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month, n4a is excited to announce an upcoming July webinar on the Dementia Friendly America initiative and how communities can get involved.

Dementia Friendly America (DFA) is a national movement that is catalyzing efforts in communities across the nation to become more dementia-friendly. Through the leadership of more than 35 national organizations, DFA works with communities to spark collaboration across sectors of communities to better support individuals living with dementia and their family and friends.

The webinar, Dementia Friendly America: What You Need to Know to Get Your Community Involved, will take place on Tuesday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m. ET.

Learn more about what Dementia Friendly America is, what it means to be part of the DFA network, and how your community can join the movement!
