New Report and Webinar Released on IT Opportunities for AAAs

n4a and the Altarum Institute released a new report and held a webinar this week: “Information Technology and the Aging Network: Opportunities to Enhance Information Technology Capacity.”

Researched and written by the Altarum Institute and with funding through n4a's Administration for Community Living–funded Building Capacity Initiative, the purpose of the report was to highlight key opportunities and share case examples.

Opportunities that were highlighted include those available through the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act as well as Health Information Exchanges. Examples of AAAs addressing information technology issues included Atlanta, GA, St. Joseph, MI and Fort Wayne, IN.

A webinar detailing the findings of the report was also held this week. The recording can be found here.
