New Opportunities for CBOs in Medicare Highlighted at Policy Event

During remarks at a Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) event on April 25, n4a's Nora Super championed the role that AAAs and other CBOs can, and are, playing in new Medicare payment models.

The event, “Improving Care for Chronically-Ill Medicare Patients,” coincided with the release of a report, “Improving Care for High-Need, High-Cost Medicare Patients” that lays out policy recommendations to eliminate barriers to the integration of social services into various Medicare payment models, such as Medicare Advantage and Accountable Care Organizations.

Super highlighted how n4a's Aging and Disability Business Institute is working to link social service providers in the Aging and Disability Networks with the traditional health care sector to improve care and lower costs.
